Day 1 Friday... Almaty (Kazakhstan)

Arrival to Almaty, meeting at the airport by our professional guide, transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Almaty.


Day 2 Saturday Almaty (Kazakhstan)

   Breakfast at the hotel. Full day sightseeing in Almaty: visit Green Bazaar, Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, St.Nicholas Cathedral, National Musical Instruments Museum. Lunch at local restaurant.
   Afternoon tour of Almaty incuding visits to Central State Museum,
Kok Tebe hills. Overnight at hotel in Almaty.

Day 3 Sunday Almaty – Charyn Canyon – Almaty 200 km (Kyrgyzstan)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Charyn canyons – the pearl of Kazakhstan.

Charyn canyons located about 200 km to the east from the city. It is about 154 km long canyon carved by the river Charyn through many layers of various kinds of sedimentary formations. The most ancient ones of them have age about 12 million years. In some places, the height of the vertical cliffs of the canyon reaches 300 meters.

You visit the most beautiful place of Charyn Canyon worth to be visited in spite of its remoteness is the Castles Valley.

Castles Valley - is a magnificent monument erected by the Nature. It is incredibly beautiful virgin valley framed by awesome, looking like middle ages castles, yellow-red sand rock formations on background of bright blue sky. P.M. Lunch picnic in the Charyn Canyons.

After easy hike in the Canyons we return to the hotel. Dinner in a local café. Overnight at hotel in Almaty.

Day 4 Monday Almaty Bishkek (Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan)

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast depart Almaty to Bishkek (270km-4h). Enjoy the natural landscapes on your way.

 Arrival to Bishkek. Check into the hotel. Lunch at local restaurant in Bishkek. Afternoon sightseeing of Bishkek: visit museum of fine arts, National museum. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Bishkek.

Day 5 Tuesday Bishkek Issykkul 260 km (Kyrgyzstan)
    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Issyk Kul Lake – the pearl of Kyrgyzstan. En route visit Burana Tower. Lunch at Kyrgyz family in Tokman town. Keep on driving to Issyk Kul valley through Boom Canyon.

Day 6 Wednesday Issykkul Chopon Ata Grigorevka Gorge Bishkek 260 km

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to visit Petroglyphs, the rock carvings lying under the open sky, then drive to Grigorevka gorge full of lush green Alpine meadows and fur trees, easy hike in the gorge.

Day 7 Thursday Bishkek Tashkent 474 km (Kyrgyzstan/Uzbekistan)

Transfer to airport for flight to Tashkent by HY 780 10:05/10:25 AM hrs. Full day sightseeing in Tashkent: visit the Khast Imam complex as well as possessing a rich Islamic Library with highlight immense Othman Quran, Chorsu bazaar, Kukeldash madrasah (XVI c.).

In afternoon visit Independence (Mustakillik) Square with governmental buildings, A. Navoi theatre square, Museum of Applied Arts. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Tashkent.


Day 8 Friday Tashkent Samarkand 293 km (Uzbekistan)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Samarkand. En route stop at honey, cheese and apple bazaar.Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Afternoon visit Afrosiyob Museum, Central bazaar in Samarkand, Paper Mills. Overnight at hotel in Samarkand.

Day 9 Saturday Samarkand (Uzbekistan)
Breakfast at hotel. Samarkand travel starts from visit of Registan Square which is centerpiece of Central Asia, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Ulugbek’s Observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Bibi-Khanum  Mosque.

Day 10 Sunday Samarkand Shakhrisabz Bukhara 380 km (Uzbekistan)

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning depart Samarkand and drive to Bukhara via Shakhrisabz. Arrival to Shakhrisabz: visit remains of Ak-Saray Palace, Kok-Gumbaz Mosque, Khazrati Imom Ensemble.

Lunch at local family. After sightseeing in Shakhrisabz, continue driving to Bukhara. Arrival to Bukhara, check in to the hotel. Dinner followed by show  of national dance and costumes in Nodir Devon Begi Madrassah. Overnight at hotel in Bukhara.


Day 11 Monday Bukhara (Uzbekistan)

Breakfast at hotel. Full day sightseeing tour in Bukhara: visit Samanid dynasty mausoleum, Arc Fortress,  Magoki-Attori mosque, Chashma-Ayub, Madrasah Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, Kalon ensemble, Miri-Arab madrasah ,Kosh madrasah, trade domes, madrasah Chor-Minor, Lyabi Hauz complex,.

Day 12 Tuesday Bukhara (Uzbekistan)

Breakfast at hotel. Continue sightseeing of Bukhara. Excursion to Bukhara Emir’s summer palace Sitora-i-Mokhikhosa, Complex of Bakhovuddin Naqshbandi. Lunch at local restaurant.

In afternoon excursion to
Gijduvan – famous pottery house. In the afternoon you will attend a master class of baking Uzbek Bread in clay oven. Dinner. Overnight at hotel in Bukhara.

Day 13 Wednesday Bukhara Farab Turkmenabad Merv 460 km (Uzb/Turkm)

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning depart Bukhara and drive to Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border point Farab. Border formalities on both sides, crossing the border.Lunch.

Transfer to Mary via Turkmenabat&Merv(350km/4.5h). Sightseeing of Merv: visit  Gyz Gala & Oglan Gala, Complex of Askhabs, Gyaur Gala, Erk Gala, Sotla Gala, Sotlan Sanjar Mausoleum etc.

 Upon arrival to Mary accommodation at the hotel. After short rest, walking tour to city bazaar and center square. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mary.

Day 14 Thursday Mary Ashgabat 350 km (Turkmenistan)

 Breakfast at hotel.Transfer to airport for flight to Ashgabat by T5 128 08:20/09:00 AM hrs. Arrival to Ashgabat: visit Ruhyyet Palace, Arch of Neutrality, Presidential Square, Gulistan Bazaar, Ertogrul Gazy Mosque. Drive to Gokdepe horse farm and Mosque. Gokdepe fortress that was attacked in December 1880 by Russians under General Mikhail Skobelev. The siege of Gokdepe lasted twenty-three days, after which the city was taken by storm.

Gokdepe Mosque was built to commemorate the defeat and is noted for its mint-turquoise blue colored roof and white marble structure. At the horse farm you can see proud of Turkmen national Akhalteke horses. Over the 30 beautiful horses, you can see at the horse farm. 5000 years ago, Turkmens begin breed Akhalteke horses. Unique breed on the world, that not mixed with other breeds. Different rulers as Alexander Great, Darius I wants to own this horses, transfer to hotel. Ashgabat.

Day 15 Friday Ashgabat Nissa - Darwaza Gaz Crater – 270 km (Turkmenistan)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning excursion to Nissa located 18 km from Ashgabat: visit Old Nisa ruins and Turkmenbashy Spiritual Mosque. Drive back to hotel. Check out. After lunch, drive to Derweze Gas Crater (268km) dubbed by locals as "The Door to Hell".

The Derweze area is rich in natural gas. While drilling in 1971, Soviet geologists tapped into a cavern filled with natural gas. The ground beneath the drilling rig collapsed, leaving a large hole with a diameter of 70 metres.

To avoid poisonous gas discharge, it was decided the best solution was to burn it off. Geologists had hoped the fire would use all the fuel in a matter of days, but the gas is still burning today.

En-route we cross Karakum desert, will make a stop at small nomad village and in the evening watch the spectacular and fascinating view of the gas crater. We will prepare dinner at open air kitchen at Gas Crater. Overnight in a camp.

Day 16 Saturday Darwaza Gaz Crater – Kunya Urgench – Khiva 310 km (Uzb/Turkm)

After the breakfast drive to Kunya-Urgench (120km/1.5h).

Sightseeing tour in Kunya Urgench: visit Portal of Caravan saray, Mamur Minaret, II Arslan Mausoleum, Sultan Tekesh Mausoleum, Academy of Horezm, Kutlug Timur Minaret, Turabek Hanum Mausoleum. After sightseeing, return to Dashoguz.

 Transfer to border check point Dashoguz. Border formalities on both sides. Continue driving to Khiva.  Arrival to Khiva, check in to the hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Khiva.

Day 17 Sunday Khiva Urgench – Tashkent 1149 km (Uzbekistan)
 Sightseeing of Khiva: visit Ichan Qala fortress - a UNESCO World Heritage Site,  Allakulikhan Madrassah, Muhammad Amin Khan, Kalta Minor, Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, IslomKhoja Minaret, Juma Mosque, Toshhovli and etc..
Transfer to the airport in Urgench for flight to Tashkent by HY 1058 08:40/10:10 PM hrs. Arrival to Tashkent, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Tashkent.
Day 18 Monday Tashkent –Oybek border – Khujand – Istaravshan – Khujand – 408 km (Uzb/Tajikistan)

Early breakfast at hotel. Drive to Uzbekistan/Tajikistan border “Oybek”. After border formalities drive to Khujand. On arrival transfer to the hotel.
Lunch at local restaurant and drive to Istaravshan. Sightseeing of
Istaravshan: visit Mugtepa, Kuk-Gumbaz. Drive back to Khujand. Overnight at hotel in Khujand.


Day 19Tuesday Khujand – Oybek border – Tashkent – 220 km (Tajikistan/Uzbekistan)

Breakfast at hotel. Sightseeing of Khujand: visit ancient part of Khujand,“Timurmalik fortress”, Archeology & History museums, Orient bazaar Panjshanbe.Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon drive to the Tajik/Uzbek border  Oybek”. After border formalities transfer to Tashkent. On arrival Farewell dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at  hotel in Tashkent.
